Which QuickBooks version should I use?

There are two main versions of QuickBooks online, self employed and business.

The self employed version is the cheapest and most basic. It is designed to support sole traders that have a very simple cash based accounting with out the need for assets. You should be aware that you currently cant upgrade from self employed to business at a click of the button. You have to download and import the data.

The business package has three tiers with various features in each one and you can upgrade and downgrade easily at a click of the button. So in summary? Self employed for basic cash based sole traders and business for everyone else.
